Florida Chick - please send me this person's user id..did they buy from Ebay or Eggbid? If so, you can block them from bidding on your eggs on Ebay. If it's an ebayer, you can guarantee they'll go on my blocked list. These are exactly the folks who make shipping eggs "so not worth it". I like the ones that hoot and hollar up front and then come back begging for more eggs because they ended up with a great hatch.

I have reconsidered if I wanted to continue offering eggs on several occasions due to cases like this one. I have learned to realize that you can't make everyone happy and for the majority who have a great experience, you just have to keep it going for them.

Cases like these are reasons I like for people to tell me how their hatch went. That way if someone claims they think something was wrong with the egg(happened to me once), I have feedback from others to refute it(to myself,I don't throw it up to them). That eases my mind because I certainly want to make sure I am shipping good eggs. Then I can say"so sorry for your hatch, next time I will send extras to help make up for it".

I laughed really hard when I read the note about the eggs more likely to be infertile due to the packaging.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've hatched something like six dozen cochin eggs (plus extras) from you so far this year, haven't I??? And with excellent fertility... 90+% on most of them.

Hmm... maybe I'd have gotten 100+%... (two chicks per egg?)... if it weren't for that darned bubble wrap!

I've hatched A LOT of birds in my life, and I can absolutely promise you that lower fertility on safe eggs is still better than 100% fertility on broken ones!

Florida chick is great to do business with. I highly recommend!!!

BTW, if this is with ebay, you know that they no longer allow sellers to leave negative feedback, don't you? So, if it is and if she leaves a negative for you there is nothing you can do about it, except fight with ebay.

You know if you had actually written "live animal" on that box the post office would have required you to pay for express mail...which is really expensive...just a thought.

did u use paypal shipping or give her track #? do u have an egg policy? if this is a auction winner pm me ur auction link so i can see ur listing to help u avoid some of these things.

i have delt w/ quit a few bad apples like this and i got tired of it, i nolonger replace or refund for any reasons. i have thought about not doing eggs anymore because of people like this buyer but ya know what don't give her the satisfaction of it. u have a right to offer eggs up and others have a right to hatch and enjoy them too and if she is not responsible to do her part then she shouldn't be buying them. don't let it get u down it's her buyers remourse not anything u did. eggs shipped r always a gamble and u can't control what her or the po does to them once they leave ur hands so u r in noway at fault.

the only thing i put on my boxes is fragile, do not x-ray and perishable. u put eggs they will be destroyed. bubbles have no effect on eggs unless it makes them swet and holds moisture, eggs don't need to breathe untill they r in incubation. u cannot punch holes and mark live animals it is not a bio filtered live shipper box appoved it would be illegal to ship that way and she is crazy if she says they told her to do that.

on ebay we can't leave a neg only a possative but we can still leave negative comments so buyers r not untouchable like they think.

since this new feedback started the crazies r sneaking out. they demand this and that and threaten retal fedback if they don't get more eggs or money so the eggs r cheaper or they get more. that is so not fair to good hearted breeders. i will not leave feedback till it is left for me now cuz i've had people start it already. i have delt with way worse people, stick to u guns and hold strong. i missed it but why does she think u owe a refund? why does she think u r responsible for the loss not her? when did she pick the eggs up? what did she do with them?

Oh my Florida chick, what a crazy lady you have on your hands!!! Well if bubble-wrap suffocates eggs I would like to know how the eggs in my bator have chicks growing in them?? The seller I got them from must have used a whole roll of bubble-wrap!

As a buyer I appreciate this as TWO people pulled out of a deal when they did not like the price I won the auction for. One said someone else posted it on her account (Yea right) and the other said it broke mysteriously and at the airport no less and she did not claim any damage...yea right. She was within driving distance and I could have seen it before hand so how was it at the airport?? Ugh the crazies! One left me bad feed back all because she claimed she did not post it. Ebay itself is useless they do nothing at all. UGH! These things are frustrating!!
