Bad fight or a disease

It does look a little washed out in the closeup but he’s also in bright sunlight in the pic.

I've sent similars picture to an avian pathologist at UC Davis and he suspected that it was ocular Marek's.

The membrane is easy enough to confirm. If the Rooster's eye looks normal at any point it's the membrane, but if it's cloudy like that all the time, it's an injury or infection.

Yes, I agree, I have seen this in some of mine after a fight,

I normally have 1500 pictures of roosters with the eye lid showing but I guess I deleted them all.

That pullet I posted has a milky/blurry membrane but it could just be the pic. There’s nothing wrong with her at all.
