bad hatch with turkeys

I had 9 turkey eggs in my bator. 2 were easterns and 7 were bourban. The 2 easterns began peeping on the 26 day and one hatched while the other got about 75% hatched and died. The 7 bourban eggs never peeped. When I took them out after all hope was lost and checked the eggs 6 of the 7 bourbans had fully developed chicks, but all had died. The temp stayed at a constant 100 and the humidity on lockdown was at 80%, but I got it down to 65% by opening a small vent hole. Did I do something wrong, I have more eggs in the bator now and do not want to lose these too.

What was your humidity level during incubation?

Yes 80% during incubation was way to high, we do about 50%

that's what it sounds like, how big was the air cell when you cracked the eggs open?

very small, almost no air sac

We incubate at 50%-55% humidity and hatch at 75%.

well tonight when I get home I guess I will lower the humidity a little more. Thanks for the information. Now if I could just keep the crows from stealing eggs I might do all right.
