I'm going to regret admitting this, but I've always loved the Godzilla movies - the crappy Japanese ones, not the American one. I also enjoyed that one, however.

Okay, so I'm a sucker for giant city-destroying stereotypical monster movies. There, I said it.

The first Godzilla was honestly pretty dark from what I remember. Aaaaand then everything went downhill after that, which is why the series is so loved today.

Those movies make me laugh so hard. Last one I saw featured Gimantis. OH MY GOSH, I love the way the Japanese name their monsters. So freaking crappy it's awesome.

Anyone remember The Blob. I saw it when I was a kid, somehow conned my mom into letting us go see it. It's a giant killer red jello.....ten kids with spoons could have taken it out.

I do like the hokie ones that sci-fi generates. I'm just surprised that any of you can remember the names. They always seem to have a little old lady/geezer type who is feeding the monsters.
