Bag Bunny. BAD BUNNY!

Mrs. Feathers :

Silly wabbit. I want to know how you get your bunny to go on the hardwood?
My boy won't step foot on it so he hangs out only on our 6x10 area rug near his cage.
Makes for a more contained play area in the house but I would like to see him venture out more.

I have a combination of hardwood floors with area rugs in almost every room. My bunny, Pinky, also doesn't like the floors. She's learned to run around on the area rugs and then leaps to the next area rug, like she's a frog going from lily pad to lily pad. It's pretty funny. What really burns her is that there are no rugs in my kitchen, which of course, is where the veggie treats come from. So I let her out of her cage, and the first thing she does is run to the kitchen threshold, where she sits and waits for me to go to get her a carrot, or apple, etc. I've tried bribing her over the edge of the threshold by holding an apple slice *just* out of reach, but she won't budge.

Same with my bunny! When we are in the kitchen he is right on the edge of that rug waiting for his treat but will not budge off of it. The good thing is that we can leave him out unsupervised as the can't get into anything on his rug island
and he does use his litterbox.
