Bag out of Layena package (updated w tutorial)

I just made another bottom of a bag. Still working on the handles. I wanted to explore attaching them and the triangle bottoms with rivets. DH has a rivet gun and I liked the idea of mixing the bag with metal pieces as an art medium aspect. Not fancy as I am still working out the kinks but It's getting there.

Nice bag. What kind of feed do you buy?

It's the new packaging here for Nutrena's Nature Wise feed. Reformulated with more omega 3 etc... I was grumbling about them because along with the newer bag they reduced the wt by 10lbs. Which really means now I buy more feed to get me through my buying cycle. They cushion their decision with "it's the same price per lb" reason. Still means I buy 2 more bags a month to keep the math easy.

So now Nutrena comes in a 30lb bag??? Wow.
I'd love to see how your grommets come out--would add a new dimension to the bags.

Wow, this looks really cool! I just emailed the link to the tutorial to my sister, she sews sometimes and I'm sure she'll love the idea!
