The nuts are fine (I use pecans sometimes), skip the cranberries though - it's just weird.actually thinking about doing a cranberry and walnut stuffing this year.

I'd seen a recipe that called for them, and it sounded good. I do think the texture might be weird, though. -probably will just stick to the cranberry compote and leave them out of the stuffing! The nuts are fine (I use pecans sometimes), skip the cranberries though - it's just weird.
My DH would respond the same way....Growing up, Mom baked homemade mac-n-cheese as "the meat", and had a lot of fresh garden vegetables to accompany it. When I married, I duplicated this meal for the new hubby. The first thing out of his mouth after sitting down to the table was, "where's the meat"? For the last nearly 32 years, mac-n-cheese has been a side dish to accompany "the meat". -make it around here with real butter, cream, grated cheddar and Gruyere, and sometimes a tad bit of sour cream.
...and as for stuffing, I've never stuffed a bird. -always made cornbread dressing from an old family recipe. -actually thinking about doing a cranberry and walnut stuffing this year.![]()
It’s amazing with cranberries! We always do it with cranberries here lol cranberries are a staple here lolI'd seen a recipe that called for them, and it sounded good. I do not think that that's how cell replacement works, Miami. The kale offsets the liver destruction from the rum.
Colt.I bake spaghetti after making it on the stovetop. It bakes just fine.![]()
DAWG.But it is delicious lol
Now how am I supposed to work with this? Here in VA, we consider mac and cheese a side dish. I was just shown a M-F menu with today's meal being baked mac and cheese. Nothing else. Just mac.
Now I rarely refer to mac as baked, because that's the only kind we do around here. However, I still wouldn't fix just mac for supper. If I cooked Sunday supper at Mother Overo's house, and I just cooked mac.... everyone would be like ".??????."
What say you? Is mac a side dish or a meal?

Free radicals are molecules that can damage your cells and cause problems, including liver disease. Substances called antioxidants can help get rid of them. Leafy greens like spinach, kale, and collards are loaded with antioxidants. They're also packed with fiber, and other things your liver needs. That's a lot different lol. I bake spaghetti too.
Mmmmm, yes.Colt.
No.
