Baked Oatmeal

I posted and then shut down for the evening.

It bakes up what I guess I would call semi-solid. When you add milk to it and stir it around it breaks up. It's not mushy like regular oatmeal.

It keeps well in the fridge and one recipe of it feeds the hubby for 3-4 mornings.

Oh this sounds very good!! DH and I are both big fans of oatmeal especially when it's bitter cold outside like now for the past 2 weeks!! Thanks Katy for the post!

Nommy! Copied, pasted and printed!

Thank you

I have a sophomore boy in HS who is in need of a little extra weight and he might like something like this before school.

This is great stuff!
Tastes like an oatmeal cookie and keeps for weeks in the fridge.
After baking, I cut mine into serving-sized squares (1 or 2 depending on how hungry I am) and store in tupperware.
You just take out what you want & reheat in the microwave.

I add some wheat germ either before baking or when reheated and serve with brown sugar or maple syrup.

Ok I made this recipe last night. Had two bowls last night....

LOL Its as good or even better than it sounds. My daughter who is 23 months old and has a bad cold took one bite and said "nummy". That is very high praise for someone who is refusing most foods that she loves normally.
