My RIR has a totally bald and now very swollen head. The rooster did this to her. She's getting a little bald on her saddle now too. I've been putting pine tar on her head once a week, but it's not helping. I'm worried that there is an infection. She's acting normal....eating, drinking, laying just fine. I've separated her. She's in my shower stall right now, but she's making a mess in there and it's stinky. I'm trying to get my hands on a dog cage that I could keep in the garage. I wish there were some way I could put a bandage or something on her head. I'm also trying to rehome my rooster, but so far haven't had any luck. If anyone has any advice or words of encouragement that would be great! Thanks so much!
