I’m going to hit a few topics here as I need help from the wise chicken whisperers out there!

One of my girls has been heading to the coop early and leaving later in the morning the last couple of days. This evening I noticed this horrendous mess near her vent!? What on earth is this? I came across some photos of vent gleet wondering if that’s what it is or worms/parasites? I’m going to give her an epsom salt bath tomorrow morning to clean her up so I can get a better look.
I have 12 girls and I haven’t seen any worms in their droppings but some of them seem a bit thin, feathers not looking brilliant, a bit paler combs and less egg production unless that’s caused by excessive heat? It’s been very hot here in south Florida but they get icy treats, ice water, I make mud puddles in the back of the garden (they’re mostly free range), have plenty of shade and have a fan in their coop. Some days I get 3 eggs (a first) as I usually get 6-10 on average. Could the heat be affecting production or are parasites a more likely cause? I’m planning on deworming as I haven’t done it as of yet. Do any natural deworming treatments work as I’ve read about pumpkin seeds, garlic, DE, ACV…? Thank you so much in advance for addressing all of my queries!

She's either being eaten by rats, the other birds or has fly strike. Can you rinse it off and get clear pictures?
And no, none if those "Natural" wormers wor

O. M. G. I took her to clean her up and now saw this!! What is going on? It’s like her insides are in the outside!

There are no rats as her coop is built like Fort Knox and have not seen the girls pecking on her at all. Today she’s been separated in a mesh chicken tent. What do I do!?

Ohhhh noooo! . What caused this why did it happen? I soaked her and the water is full of maggots. How do I out her down, bring her to a vet? I can’t possibly do it myself.

It was flystrike, the flight maggots ate through the body cavity. Do you have a vehicle starting fluid? Call around to see who can, do you have any neighbors who can?

She’s not been overcrowded, she’s fed very well and only pecked on by the other girls when it’s bed time. They all peck each other when finding their place. The coop is kept clean, they have ample sun and shade. I don’t know why this happened.
