Hello! I new to chickens I have 4 chicks and a duckling! However I noticed the other day two of my chicks have bald spots on there necks and I’m not sure if that’s suppose to happen with them growing feathers or if there’s a problem! I feed and water them and. Clean there bedding regularly, also do I need to get a sand bath ready as well they are only 3 weeks old.

Without seeing them I'd have to guess that one of the 4 chicks is pecking at the other two. Happens when you have just a few. How much room do they have?

Could you post pictures? It just sounds like they are getting their new feathers.

They are just getting their feather I went to take pictures and they had more feathers in the missing spots

3 week old chicks will be in the process of growing first feathers
This growth may cover some areas before others. The downy areas will slowly be replaced by feathering.
A picture on one of your chicks showing us the areas you are concerned about will answer this question.
