Ballerinas!!🩰 (and other dancers 😁)

Had ballet on Tuesday...was going to post this but forgot. My ballet outfit has evolved from 'ballerina' to 'ninja' because it's too cold to dance in tights, so I'm wearing a leotard under black leggings. (I"m dancing in my basement on zoom) I've successfully made it through a ballet class without freaking out that I'm doing badly!! I'm also pretty proud of my tours jetes.

Yesterday was my short day, I had an acro class and 2 ballet classes. I did dance in my dance room at home, because, again, we have to shut down But it hasn’t been as bad as the first time, which is good haha
I wish I was allowed to were leggings or a sweatshirt, but rules are rules lol
Tour Jetes were one of the five hardest “steps” growing up (that I finally know how to do haha) so that’s really awesome that you’re proud of them!

I used to work in a photo lab. One regular customer did a lot of pictures of ballerinas. Her work was some of my favorite to QC. Both for the subject matter and for her photography.

That is awesome! I love ballet photography (I swear, not just because I’m biased ) and it always makes me happy to hear someone else likes it

I love watching ballet too. Even if it makes me feel like a klutz. Same thing with figure skating. But ballet usually has better music.

Ballet does have better music. My teacher usually uses piano covers of pop songs, songs from movies, holiday songs, etc. and it's super fun.

Never thought I'd say this, but I had FUN during ballet today. I enjoyed it. I'm really glad I've been able to come to this point of enjoying it. I"ve improved a heck ton and I'm really proud of myself. even though I had trouble with a grand battement combination but the rhythm was super weird ok

That’s great! It took me awhile before I began to like ballet haha.
