So did he change to almost all black since his molt? He's very interesting.

This is the black hen in the pen when I first saw her. Before Molt. She is the mother of BAMA. His father was black

Here is Bama and the moma hens offspring.
She is a huge pullet. She hasn't even got the comb or wattles yet.

Here is a young BAMA cockerel that is more typey than BAMA but may not quite as tall yet. He has mottling on his front feathers. Very nice young man. Not breeding yet. When she starts laying and he starts breeding I will see what I get from a sibling to sibling mix of this gene. Then I will breed her back to Bama. I do have three young pullets to about 2 1/2 months old.
