Bantam blue English Orpington x silked white Easter egger project

I recently vibrated an egg layers by my bantam blue English Orpington, which was fertilized by my silked white Easter egger too. The chick came out so cute, with a mix of black and white feathers. The chick is currently 3 days old. Anyone else ever cross these two? I’d love to see your mixes! First picture is of my adorable chick, second picture is my hen, and the third is my roo.

Not at all what I was expecting. And to add to all the fun, odds are if you hatched other eggs from the exact same pairing, it's likely they might each look very different from each other. I just LOVE how nature does it's own thing & sends us so many surprises!

Will be incredibly interesting to see how this baby turns out as an adult. :pop
