Bantam Brahmas or Sussex

I am looking for a new chicken breed and I would like something that is friendly, that can be a good mother, lays a good amount of eggs, and I just want an all around great chicken, but I dont know which one to choose, Bantam Brahmas or Sussex, please leave comments!

I just hatched my first Speckled sussex this spring so they aren't laying yet, but they are very friendly birds. Never have been flighty at all.

Never had Sussex so I can't coment!

Have Bantam Brahmas if you you will it there & pet them they will be your lap chickens!

Grandkids carry all over!!!

They lay very well about 190 after the first year their eggs get a real nice size (they were always bigger than Bantam Cochin but now bigger then BR Bantam)

They are also good foregers which helps with the price of feed going up!
