I am going to buy some bantam hatching eggs soon and I need help with picking breeds.

I want a relatively quiet bird that doesn't lay a lot of eggs. I would prefer a breed that doesn't go broody often too.

Do seramas fit this criteria? I have always been fascinated by them.

Unfortunately pretty much all bantams go broody.
I suggest seramas. and silkie bantams. I have some serama chicks(That I bought from eggs) I am amazed at how friendly they are at only 3 months! They all jump on my shoulders and head lol. They also are REALLY SHORT!
And check out polish bantams!

Thanks for the suggestions. I was already thinking of getting a few silkie and serama eggs. I dont know about the polish though. I had a buff laced polish before and she was quite noisy and would easily get spooked because of her crest blocking her view (we did trim it often).

Does anyone have experience with bantam Cochins, Millie fleurs or D'Anvers?
