okay, so I wiped them with a warmly wet paper towel. Was that bad? I'm still unsure about best practices with that! I understand there's a bloom that protects the eggs. I also understand you want to use warm water if you do clean them. Is it best to just leave them as-is? I'm just thinking of the future when I give them to other people!!
Awww and don't worry about wiping your eggs as long as clean. Put into a carton pointy end down and then in the fridge. :frow

Very pretty Birds...:clap
Thanks :D
Okay, what kind of D'Uccle? So pretty!
And then a pair of Golden Sebrights :love
And perhaps an OEGB?
Not a purebred d'uccle. ;) She's a mottled serama x mille fleur d'uccle. Yes, that's Eclipse the silver duckwing OEGB. :D

Here's a picture showing my purebred d'uccle compared to Popcorn, the mix-

Is that a rosecomb?

Very athletic Silkies... and the last one knows how to play hard to get!

And that's why mixes are so great-- gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing! Love them.

:frow Belated, but from me, too, to those of you who celebrate it! :D

Here are some of my safe bantam chickens a few days ago. :p

Fawn SDW OEGBs. My girls Vega and Altair, and then the boys Toli, Acher, and Rigel (the Khaki). The boys are shedding tail feathers and regrowing them, so their tails aren't quite as full and pretty as last time I took their pictures. :hmm
