Hi everyone,
We just got our big chicks to their chicken mansion and this is our second set of chicks, but our first Bantams. They were from the Bantam bin at Tractor supply. I was told the bigger ones are silkies, but they have clean legs. There are two of the tiny striped ones and one tiny chick that looks different from the rest. The yellow/blue chicks have the cutest cheeks and they are all so friendly. The two with the black stripe one their eye have chipmunk backs. So 3 yellow, two with the black stripes on their back and eye and the other little dark chick who has dark legs and the fur on his head is shorter, then longer. They love each other.

Thank you! What does LF EE mean? And do these breeds grow to be friendly? We have 6 older chicks (3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Barred Rock) which we’ve handled since they were babies, but they will be in their own chicken mansion. The bantams also have a mansion, but we kind of wanted them as pets and not just egg layers. Thank you, again! I’m obsessed with them.

The blue/yellows are LF chicks, and EEs. The chipmunk ones are Old English Game Bantams. The dark golden laced chick is a GL Sebright.
Hi. I looked up what lf means and I spoke to 3 tractor supply stores that said my other three are exceptionally tiny, but how do I tell if they are LF? They are smaller than my other chicks were? I don’t want to return them, but the other 3 were so tiny compared to the rest of the bantam. They also assured me they were silkies even without the feathered foot.

None of these are silkies. Silkies have 5 toes, black skin, black beak, feathered feet.
Many TSC employees have no clue.
Your 1st one could be a gold Sebright, but it looks like a belgian d'Anvers to me. We have both and when the feathers come in is when it's easier to tell.
the chipmunk striped one is an Old English Game bantam -OEGB. Wing color is saying Silver Duckwing color.
The two others have very fluffy muffs, especially for babies. Coloring looks porcelain, but I doubt TSC would have porcelain d'Anvers. Likely to be Easter Eggers.

Maybe just younger.

They're not.

The Easter Eggers do not look to be bantams. They look to be large fowl (standard). The bantams look to be a Golden Sebright, a Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantam, and a Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam. :)
