With Easter Eggers, it's often VERY hard to determine the color of future plumage.Just recently, I received a nearly solid blue EE chick in my order from Cackle, and she's feathered out mostly buff!
But I'd say the chances your baby will have some form of lavender or light blue on it are quite good.
I do hope you'll keep us updated!

I will! I'm seeing some photos from hatcheries on my online searches and have seen several cochin pics that look VERY similar in color to mine. So far I have seen partridge, buff, calico and even a wheaton. It'll be really fun to see how mine turns out. I really wanted a cochin bantam or a pekin bantam in my "grab"...so I'm just thrilled I got at least one. Hopefully it's a pullet! Don't think neighbors will appreciate a roo even though I'm rural and they all have chickens as well...
