I have 3 bantam roos I use to breed in my white flock and 2 of them are wonderful but one is a rotten creature so we call him "Meany". He doesn't like to be held or loved on like the other 2.
Pictured is my best Cochin bantam white roo, King. He runs with all the other breeds and is quite the "king" of them all! He is a retired show fella and is very happy free ranging now.

This is his daughter, Peeps, from this years' breeding. She is our little sweetheart. But don't tell any of the others!

I'm a sucker for bantam cochins.

I have one mille fleur cockerel whose name is now Fidel because he wants to be such a dictator.

I also have one young mottled chick who is supposed to be a pullet but I suspect not. Her/his name is Hillary -- Hillary Clinton if it's a she, Sir Edmund Hillary if it's a he -- because either way, it fits her ambitious mountain-climbing personality!
