Here's Sunny, my bantam frizzled Cochin.... At least I believe he's a Cochin.

Oooh, I love bantam Cochins!! One of my top three breeds for sure! I am working on building up a good group of silkie-feathered Cochin bantams for breeding, and I have some smooth-feathered Mottleds from Meyer Hatchery that I got on a whim a few years back. Love my little round sassyfluffball chickens

Unfortunately, I seem to be having some technical difficulties uploading pictures of my silkied Reds... Here is my growout trio of silkied Black Cochin bantams, though, and the surprise recessive white that popped up in the same hatch. My handsome man Gus and his girls, Myrtle, Zinnia, and the recessive white.

What?!?!? Silked??? Omg how beautiful!! I have bantam and standard Cochins and silkies. My most fave breeds. I am so excited about this!

Winter hits a bit too hard here for me to hatch this time of year, so unfortunately I'm not. I might hatch in January or February, though, if my silkieds go into lay by then.

My little new black rooster has been acting lethargic I hope he gets over it soon. I’ve treated him and he’s acting better so hopefully! I was hoping to take him to a show in Lodi CA in February
