We have a beautiful, sweet mottled Cochin. I see a mills duccle has been mating her. How do you get first a mottled Cochin and second how do you get a mills Cochin. Obviously not by the duccle but it got me thinking.

You get a mottled Cochin by breeding two mottled Cochins. You get a Mille by crossing mottleds and buffs over and over.


This is what I got when I bred my mottled Cochin hen to my buff brahma roo, (both bantams)

I have 5 EXTERNAL PIPS in my bantam cochin eggs so far!!!!

They are having a chirping party in that bator..LOL!!! I know this is not a quail thread..but have to show off my 4 babies that hatched yesterday
