I currently have 11 bantam cochins in the brooder!!!!

There are 2 that seem a little weak so I am a bit worried..one keeps chirping loudly? I will post pics tomorrow

I still have 7 more eggs in the incubator...one I think piped in a blood vessel/vein because it zipped and stopped..no signs of movement or sound and the zip has a brownish red along it

I have been having such a hard time with keeping humidity up, I don't want to open the bator and risk the other pips! @Marthab1953 your grand babies!!!!

Sounds like they are doing good 18 out or 22 made ti to lock-down is not bad. Looking forward to pictures.

If you have any that are not standing or opening their eyes, I had GREAT success with raw scrambled egg four times a day for three days. Full recovery. Good luck!

I've got babies! Mixed, but definitely some Cochin bantam. Especially one lil tiny baby. Momma is super over protective. 10. Lost 1 that think was preemie which the other broody hatched & pecked-near the jugular. She lived a few days then passed earlier today. So far that rest are doing great.

I've also 1 from tsc that's a few weeks old which was in the bantam bin, but I don't think is as not much smaller than the Isa brown & blue austrolorps. I'll try for photos.

Yay! Lotta of babies.... Going to have decisions to make.
