Haven't been on in a while but love seeing everyone's beautiful birds!!! My chicks from my classroom hatch are almost 5 weeks now and ADORABLE!!!

Here’s my mottled Frodo at 9 weeks lounging with buff Pippin who’s 6 weeks.
I have a question for anyone who might know, is it normal for a mottled cochin to only have a couple of spots of white on them?
Are they still considered mottled?
Will they get more white after molting as they grow older?

Oh YES!!! He starting showing the red comb and wattles right away...but he is the sweetest little guy!!
Is it possible its just a carrier? (only one mottled parent) My George has gotten darker over the years.
