BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pics
Dixies babies hatched, out of the 12+ eggs...4 hatched yesterday, 2 today...she left the 2 hatching eggs alone in the nest...I found one on the coop floor chirping like crazy, with her feathers stuck to it and the shell smashed, she had stepped all over it trying to get it unstuck!! Poor baby was stuck in the shell so bad I had to use warm water and tweezers to rescue the poor thing, put it in my incubator on lower temp without water to let it rest and dry out...it seems to be doing fine so far, I went out and checked the nest and the other baby got out of the shell okay, was still wet so I brought it inside to keep the other one company till they are both strong enough to join the others...

They're all black, and blues this run! Which would be so exciting if I got to keep any!

But I'm moving to Kansas, I've only got 1 full grown full size chicken left...one pullet, I banty cockerel, and 2 banty pairs.... And 6 turkey poults...5 baby bunnys and 1 lop earred buck...

Oi! The only thing harder than selling off all my chickens is that I'm leaving my kids and grand kids!!!

Any banty lovers live near the tricities, Washington interested in buying some? I kinda want to keep the calico pair together...and I don't want to get stuck having to brood the babies...all that stuff is packed already!

I have just witnessed something very disturbing!!!! My Cochin bantam hen (Marshmallow) just mated my other scraggly bantam hen that has never layed an egg in her life(Muffin)! Is Marshmallow a lesbian?!!!she lays eggs almost every day and a rooster does have access to her....

Leaving kids, grandkids and chickens is hard! I just moved 2 weeks ago as well and couldn't keep all the bantam cochin babies I hatched this year

But they went to friends so I can still see them grow
