My sweet little 3 week old, Goldie, is not doing good. I think she is trying to die. I have been monitoring her to make sure she is eating and drinking and pooping. But it's not looking good. I will get some Corid tomorrow afternoon if she is still bad.... But it's heartbreaking to think of her suffering!

She has been sleeping all day, limping and not balancing well. She is lethargic and listless at times, not opening her eyes much. I have been forcing fluids every hour and she does still eat some, and is still pooping. But it's not looking good. I have been reading on here about coccidiosis and she seems to fit those symptoms.... So Corid treats that. I am going to town tomorrow afternoon and if she is still with us, I will be picking some up.

Limping? That sound like maybe she has bumblefoot too, but the rest of the symptoms are not bumblefoot. Does she have a black scab on one or both of her feet?

Did you post her in the injuries/diseases/cures forum? If not I would recommend doing that.

Yes I actually just made a post this evening there.... I checked her feet and they both look free of any marks....

Also, I take that back, we are getting them Tuesday

We did not get them Tuesday and the persons selling the chicks is mad at us. we will get them tomorrow if she will let us
