Thank you! I am glad the kids are looking forward to hatching them. That makes it worth gathering the eggs for you, so the kids can have the adventure of watching them hatch etc.

Its the BEST!!!!! They are young, but still totally understand how important it is not to touch the incubators

And they LOVE taking care of them when they hatch! Also REALLY great to show them the work that goes into caring for animals

It does say bantam Cochins but I suppose you could. have you looked for a standard Cochin thread?

This is one I was told was a Mille... she's pretty, the lady had a few that looked like this so I hope she grows up to as well...

I would call that beautiful hen a Calico as opposed to a Millie Cochin. The ones with the black chevrons tipped with white are what you would be looking for in the Millie Cochins. Here are a couple I had in 2011/2012 that was a beautiful example of a Bantam MIllie Cochin

As to the Partridge question you might want to ask someone who knows the color genetics of partridge more than I do.
