BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just recently given a pair of young male bantam cochins because of crowing and that being an issue for the previous owner. She got them from a breeder and they look like nice birds... and frankly I'm a bit in love. It's not a breed I have experience with so the name of the color is alluding me right now, but It's between mottled and millefleur. Calico?

Can anyone give me advice on what color hens I should be looking for to breed with these guys? Mottled, millefleur, calico?, all three?

Any advice is appreciated. I already had a major soft spot for both speckled and bantam chooks. I keep a few large fowl speckled sussex for big eggs, a small group of spangled OEGB for lawn/bug patrol with the big ladies, and a few silkies for fun. But these little Cochins just seem to roll the best of everything I like in a small chook into one perfect package. AND husband has already agreed to building a separate breeding coop for them if I want to...

What kind of personality does it have? My roos were sweet to me but pretty in your face with the other chicks. Well one was sweet. My hen is really laid back. Also her comb got pink didn't swell up or change shape/size compared to the boys.

This is a 5 week Cochin bantam pullet (I think) that I got from TSC chick days. Just curious about her color. Is this a unique combo? What would you call this? Will it change with age? Just curious. New to owning chickens, and my flock is for pleasure hobby and maybe a few eggs (I have others besides bantams) but I just can't find anything like her online so I'd just like to know what y'all think. I've read that people are trying the perfect a Mille fleur Cochin. Would she/ he be useful for someone working on that?

Update! The little fella's are growing up fast! I was sure they'd start turning gray like my last batch did, but so far all these cochins are staying black. Love the new noises they are starting to make.

And this partridge has just the coolest feathers I've ever seen.

We are at about 9 weeks old I believe! That big guy is the rooster I'm keeping and the other is the one that confuses me. All my girls have little red wattles but this one has a slightly bigger comb than the rest. Also, can you tell me if the big guy is a mottled or Mille??

So a while ago I thought I had 2 bantam Cochins, but you guys said they were d'uccles. I have now decided to get some Cochins! I pick up 10 newborns tomorrow from a local Cochin breeder. I am so excited! I will post pictures then. I am planning on getting some blue mottled, black mottled, splash, and white. I cannot wait! They seem like such sweet birds!

Hey guys, I was hoping you guys could confirm what i am thinking. I believe my little girl here is a bantam cochin not sure what kind or color or anything else. would love help with that pretty please??
