Sorry, he is handsome. Bearding gene inhibits wattles size.. and comb and wattles both look large and red for the stated age. (noting that's if they aren't flush from heat and turn back pale again)

Starting as early as 10 weeks but often by 12 is when pointy saddle and hackle feathers are starting to come in and usually showing well around 16..
