I do plan to get some nice BRs from him in the future, but right now, have no room for more in that coop. He has some really great birds.

He had some goreous Blue Orp bantams last year I believe and they were really good for bantams!

I heard he got some good birds and with that strong markings and finding GOOD pullets to go with him that does not have those flaws, you will come out ahead and hope for the best if the chicks comes out better than their father!

Good luck on this project! They are beautiful contract of black and white pattern...now I am not going to give in for some Delawares!

Did you here that he had sent some bird to a friend of his at Penn. State back about 2 years ago so that they can work on some of the genetics in the tail.. (Trying to get a better tail)

No, I didn't hear that. I did contact him awhile back to get a price on some BR hatching eggs, then later found out he had some Del bantams. His are really nice, I understand.

If you don't mind me asking what was the price? 15.00 or 20.00 a dozen....
He is a real nice guy. I have known him for about 8 years now.

At the time he quoted me, it was $25/doz inc shipping, if I remember correctly. Was quite reasonable for the quality birds he has.
