Thank you for your reply. All of my ducks are calls. I'm not the type of person who cares what they look like. I love the funny looking ones more I think and in my heart they are more special to me. My concern is if they are healthy and happy. If you've ever heard a little child look at something thats different and all they say is awww, well those are the kind of children and grandchildren i've raised. Not the kind of people who would look at my special little duck and say omg thats ugly and it should be put down. As long as it's not in pain I will love it more.
Right now i've got a snowy call sitting on eggs in the coop. I've been incubating her eggs but i've lost her first two. She makes beautiful baby's and i have more in the bator and four under her. She just didn't want me to take anymore from her. Here's a pic of her and her hubby. I had old speaker boxes and the calls love them for nests.

Linda I am blaming you completely for me buying 4 doz call hatching eggs this week! LoL Plus I bought two new breeding pairs that I should be getting late next week. Then there are the 15 hooligans stomping in the mud that hatched this spring. All starting to feather out now, and growing like weeds.

regarding the calls flipping on there backs. Here is what I was just told to do from a fellow call breeder. IT WORKS GREAT! For those calls that seem to like to do the back stroak. Get a small glass (I used the round glass that the glade candles come in) cut about 4" off of the bottom of a sock (the toe intact) place the sock in the glass and pull the side of the sock up and over the glass to creat a hamock looking sling then place the call in and they can't flip over. I place them back into the incubator for the 48 hours, but you can also use it for longer if needed. Just pull the duck out and let them eat and drink with supervision then place back in the sock hamock! I have saved 2 so far this year.

Where are you at? Aside from one set of CD eggs this year I have had very good luck hatching.

Grey Pied drake over a Blue Fawn pied duck
White drake over White duck
Gray drake over Gray duck

What color are you looking for???? I have Call ducks.

I'm looking for any colors at this point. I only have 1 hen and 3 drakes.

My Aleutians, Snowy, Whites and Blue Fawn Pied are laying at the moment. My Pencil is laying sporadically. I would only sell 6 at a time though, due to the heat, shipping, etc.
We've gotten some really adorable ducklings this year.
