Hello everyone :)

I was recently asked to adopt a lone hen. I agreed, only to find out she's a tiny thing! Now I'm wondering what breed she is.

I will most likely have to rehome her (I have 5 standard hens and they are like 3 times her size).

Editing to add: I'm not sure how old she is but she is over a year old for sure.

If you know your hens personality and they seem casual, you could probably keep her with them.

But quarantine any new bird since you don't know the bird. Unless you don't mind having problems with diseases introduced to your flock.

She is adorable!! I don't know if your large fowl would work with her or not. I've kept both - always kept the bantams separate in the coop and run, and everybody free-ranged together without incident. I would watch carefully if attempting to integrate.

Aren't Black Tailed Buff Japanese Bantams supposed to have yellow legs? Not green?
All pictures of them I see they have yellow legs.
