up for auction is 6+ bantam light and dark brahma test eggs. the parent stock came from ideal, and mcmurry. i have had them separated out for 2 wks now. i want to test for fertility and purity. i will include 3+ of each breed and each egg will be marked what breed it is. i would test myself, but my bators are full.
each eggs will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap, nestled in enough shredded paper so the box will not mash. i have had good reviews about this packaging method.
i also will enclose surprise eggs. they could be pekin duck, bantam blue splash cochin, or top hat. they will be marked also.
if you have any question, feel free to PM me or email me.
here are some pictures of the parents.
"Daisy" the blb hen. she came from mcmurry in 2008. she has not been broody. she was in the layer hen pen before i separated them. i kept the eggs collected so that might have been the reason.
'Rupert" the blb rooster. he came from ideal in 2009
PLEASE IGNORE THE OTHER BIRDS IN THEIR PEN, THEY ARE DARK AND LIGHT BRAHMA PULLETS, THEY ARE TOO YOUNG TO LAY. THE ONLY BLB EGGS WILL COME FROM THIS PAIR.
"Henry" the bdb rooster. he came from ideal in 2009. he is still on the young side, but he is trying very hard.
"Sally" the bdb hen. she came from mcmurry in 2008. she has a very good disposition. she has gone broody 2x in the past year.
