I see it silkie sensation, you worked a side deal that not follow the rules of the swap. if you read 519 it state you must offer eggs first

Check with meepitqueenie for clarification. She made the paypal offer, not me. My offer met all guidelines at that point in time. My statement was if she could make an offer of paypal only then I see no reason why it shouldn't be acceptable for everyone else as well.

The reason PayPal back up was put into place in the first place was when your post #483 stalled the swap days and days. This is a swap not an auction. If you wanna sell eggs for a PayPal payment, then they should be in the auction section of this site. If we want to change the format, that is totally fine. But, then it is not really swap any longer. Sorta takes the fun out of it and just makes it a business transaction.

Like I said, the final decision belongs to meepitqueenie since it's her chain. Send her a PM if you want clarification. She herself offered paypal with no other items offered with it. I see nothing wrong with others doing the same if it was OK for her to do. I have also seen almost, if not every, other swap chain on here allows JUST paypal to be offered without any other items offered.

I do not need clarification, the rules are very easy to understand as stated in post 519. If you want to bypass the rules then send her an email requesting a variance from the rules that are posted. You are right, it is hers to decide.

If that were the case, then you are saying meepitqueenie broke her own rules. It seems to me she just amended them to allow more people to swap.

I don't believe I have ever even seen you swap on this chain or any other. Why should the rules matter to you at all if you are not even participating in the swap. How the chains have been run, including this 1, is paypal is offered in place of or in addition to eggs & other items. If someone wants they paypal, they claim it. No one is forced to claim anything they don't want. Again, if it's ok for queenie to offer ONLY paypal then it should be fine for everyone else as well. Otherwise, as you pointed out, she would be breaking her own rules.

Meepitqueenie is the only person that should decide whether to allow an exception. But, you decided to speak on her behalf when you told someone that is would be ok to offer PP only. She may say no big deal, but it is not up to anyone other than her to allow it.
