Bantam rooster clipped leg feathers

I have a 1 year old bantam rooster who showed problem of walking, so we trimmed his large toe nail in back and trimmed feathers. Now he will not walk or stand. He is in good health and there was no bleeding but just will not stand or walk.....help I don't want him to died as he is a sweet and loving guy. Please I need help on what to do.

Think you should post in the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures, " thread of the forum. I can't imagine why he is having this problem but, it may have nothing to do with your clipping his nails. Would you know if he was inoculated for Mareks disease as a hatchling? Have you been giving him medicated feed?
 
From what I read if it is Mareks Virus...then it spreads to other birds. What I read said to show mercy and do the kind thing. Since we brought these birds it has been one sickness after another. I've nursed them back to health only to enjoy them for a month or so and then this.
