Who doesn't love bantams! I LOVE my bantams. They're energetic, fast, lean and leggy, and I love their body and faces. Just so cute! Mine love to do zoomies and jump in the air.

Cochins! They are cute, fluffy, come in all different colors, lay beautiful cream/white eggs, and are incredibly friendly.

I only have a few breeds, I'm just staring out my own bantam flock, but so far Silkies, Cochins and Serama's. I haven't had them for very long, (my oldest are 11 weeks old) so I haven't owned them long enough to distinguish personality differences between breeds, but based on looks, the above are SO DARN CUTE!!!

I hatched 2 Calico Cochin bantams from 9 eggs 7 weeks ago. Sadly, PB got attached by a dog and didn't make it, but Nugget my Grey Japanese bantam took Jay (the surviving Calico Cochin bantam) in perfectly! She didn't peck him once and let him snuggle under her wing at night. She's so sweet.
I love Japanese and Serama's stubby legs! They're so close to the ground.

I have a question for you all, what is everyone’s favourite breed of bantams?

I have 10, 3 week old bantam chicks and if I have to have a favorite it’s probably my d’ Uccles. I have a Millie fleur and a golden neck

My blue Cochin is probably my 3rd favorite. I have suspicions of it being a cockerel.
