Are you sure on age? I agree that's a lot of wattles for the age and that makes me think male, but those are smooth, classic female headdresses

They just turned 8 weeks. Hatched 4/12 from Ideal Poultry.

. Then they'd be pullets for sure.

I agree the crests looks so pullety but, the combs and wattles - give me pause. Maybe Yorkshire Coop will be along to add her 2 cents, she raises Polish and pops up on this thread often- when she sees a question on Polish.

I'm sorry I haven't posted pictures! I don't have a computer at home so when I leave work it's like out of sight out of mind as far as this forum goes. I did happen to notice this weekend that one of our girls has the slightest wattle starting. They will be 12 weeks this week.

So chick #1 is definitely a cockerel (caught him mounting one of the pullets early this week). I'm still on the fence regarding #2 & 3. Does anyone else think these look like hackle feathers.........

I know this is an old thread but did chick two and three turn out to be girls or boys? I have some polish (possibly mixed) chicks who I'm waiting to find out the sex of and your experience would be helpful.
