Bantams let out of the coop **Updates** (PHOTOS)

You all totally just made my day!

THANK you, thank YOU!!

I'm learning this photography stuff. My hubby is pushing me to make a bit of money doing it. Doing what I love and getting paid for it? Only in my dreams!

We live in Blountsville, Alabama. Sweet home, Alabama..that song is in my head now. We moved from the stuffy SUBURBS to wayyy out in the sticks and are loving every second of it. We moved out here without a truck, tractor, trailer, not even a lawn mower and boy, were we in for a culture shock!

We're used to the 90 minute wait at the nicest, hippest, most chic restaurant in town and now we're dining at the "Italian/Mexican/Chinese fine dining" (true name) restuarant-which is the nicest restaurant we have here in this tiny town. haha

Our place isn't as fancy dancy as it looks in the photos! With no lawn mower--you can imagine! We got sheep and goats so we wouldn't have to invest in a mower...but that's not working out as well as we had anticipated...hehe We've got a modest, older home that we're trying to fix up. But we keep getting rescue animals (thank God for them) so our little bit of green goes their way.

This is my new hangout; never thought I'd sit for 30 minutes doing nothing just watching a pond before, but after my ducklings came--that's where you'll find me.

Everyone needs a place to sit and just............be............. You know?

Sincerely, thank you for the warm comments! You made my day!

Your pictures are incredible. They have a soft, fantasy-like look to them.

Seriously, I'd watermark them if you put them on the internet.
You could sell some of those, for real.

How much land do you all own? I want to come and sit by the pond...very nice.

Hehe...the pigs don't talk to us quite yet.

We're on 12 acres here in the middle of no where. Not too much land, but it gets our feet wet! We're hoping to venture out and buy more in the future.

I'd welcome any of my chicken friends to sit and relax in the quiet with me anytime!!

I agree...gorgeous place, beautiful animals (especially the 2 legged one!

) and superb photography skills!

I loved the one with Isabella and the lamb...they both have their mouths open like they are talking to each other! LOL!

The pig pic is a CLASSIC! LOVE IT!

I also thought your horse looked like a unicorn! My 13 yo dd got a rude awakening the other day while we were driving past a neighbor's land. It was misty outside and their white horse was grazing, and she starts screaming that she saw a unicorn!

I couldn't help but just laugh so hard I was crying! I kind of felt bad, but she kept screaming, "No mom! I swear! It's right there! LOOK!" By the time I caught my breath, she figured it out.

I love the name Gandalf for the goat! Perfect!

I hope you keep posting pics! They are great!
