Are Bantam's better egg layers then Standards?

I don't believe that they are. Standards will give you more eggs and obviously bigger eggs.

You can't beat a red or black sex link. Barred Rocks are good... RIRs are good, Some pearl white leghorns.

He's right. Production breeds have been bred to be egg machines. Each of my leghorns give me an egg a day. My father has Production Reds and they each lay one per day.
