bantams

we have been given 10 bantams that are not laying yet .


What age do they start laying ?


We have 4 huge roosters , should we also get a bantam rooster to guard the bantams ?

Bantams lay at about the same age as standards. Some may be a little earlier, but most are about the same.

The problem with having a standard Roo with bantams is that the roo will try to mate them. This can result in severe injuries to the little hens.
