barbezieux chicks

If you haven't tried rarebreedauctions.com, you might want to check it out. Actually there are 2 (as we speak) breeders on there (yes, one is Greenfire, but at auction 14 Barbezieux cost me $420 rather than the $2,800 from their personal website. Another is bacon and eggs barnyards. They are selling them for $99 a chick, but I am sure there can be some bargaining room. They are located in FL, as is Greenfire, and offer a LOT of information on their website. Hope this helps!

Anyone know where I can get barbezieux chicks besides greenfire farms?

FYI - Besides the pre-July sales notice above, I just got informed that GFF has East Frisian Gulls they're expanding into their own Silvers, imported a new line of Ayam Cemani and have 4 different bloodlines, and improved their order-taking technology program.

How tall does this breed get. All I've found is "they get tall"taller than WHAT?

I don't know how long-legged Barbezieux get but they are the tallest European chicken - not counting game or fighting birds like Malay, of course.
I always thought it would be hilarious to put a short-legged Dorking with a long-legged Barbezieux in the flock just for the comedy relief!
