Bare butt

So tsc didn't have the stuff the vet said to get but they had permethrin 10 which has poultry on it for lice etc so i got that and just sprayed the coop, sand, perches, etc. all hens are in my big yard foraging until the stuff dries. I have the coop windows and large door open so it dries faster. It was supposed to be 40 today and sunny and of couse was until i finished spraying- then the temp dropped and the sun left. Now I'm panicking as i need the stuff to dry before the hens can go back in. They have under my deck and a lot of hay bales to keep warm but some of them are trunking to get back in the coop

The coconut oil i sprayed as a liquid dried.. Now i am panicking as i forgot that its going to turn back to how it was in the jar. I tried wiping it off her butt and feathers and it wont come off.

Here is a pic of her butt after i sprayed it, there are new feathers growing in

This was all interesting information. Thank you for sharing. However, I am itching now! LOL I make a spray using essential oils to use on my girls and in their area. It works well and smells great! I use different oils depending on the time of year. Right now I am using pure peppermint. Helps keep the mice away too! Sometimes I combine peppermint and clove this time of year. Remember to drop a few drops of vodka in with your water and oil!
