Bare Crop

My Speckled sussex has lost the feathers on the bottom of her crop. Anyone know why this could be?

Yes, need pics and age of bird...and any other info about your flock and coop/run.

The bird is nearing 1 year old, and the flock recently had lice. The flock has more than 10 sq. feet per chicken in their run, so feather picking should not be the problem.

How many birds in how big of a coop?
