Barhmas with curled toes

I just got some brahma chicks hatch still in the incubator and I can see one of them has curled toes, I'm planning to use the tape method to correct it (used before on other breeds) but I'm wondering how would it work on brahmas considering their feathery legs, would it be bad if some of the leg feathers got plucked while removing the tape? Any ideas or suggestions?

Maybe try getting some vet wrap type stuff? I know its not tape but if you wrap it around and back on itself it should hold I think. Not sure if that would work though but its just something I thought of!

If tape gets stuck, use a little mineral oil or baby oil to work tape off feet and feathers.

I'd also start giving the chicks B-Complex.
