Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I finally got my screened-in room to the point where it was ready to have the ceiling stained. The thought of doing that with a brush and roller was unfathomable so I bought a paint sprayer. I've never used one before and it was easier than I thought it would be. It took longer to mask everything than it did to actually do the spraying. And the stain color is nice but it's darker than I was hoping for. It still looks good so I'm going to go forward with it. And the stainable wood filler is a joke. You can see every place where I used that wood filler. Maybe what it cures for many months I'll go back over it with a brush and try to touch up those spots.

Today we've got Sally's rain. I'll spend most of the day catching up on housework and hopefully get a break in the rain long enough to go get building supplies to start building the walls for the room. I got all my electric supplies 2 days ago.

If he does have a respiratory infection he's going to be a carrier for life. This is the number one reason why I will never go to a poultry trade to bring anything home.
And thank goodness you quarantined him. Most people don't and they bring the infection home and immediately spread it to the rest of their flock. Good luck with him!

I got VetRX, Oxymav B, Doxylin amoxicillin trihydrate,Amoxycillin Sandoz.

I would use the Oxymav B because it is specified for avian respiratory infections. Follow the instructions on the bottle. Whatever you do, make sure that you wash your hands thoroughly and change your clothes and shoes before going anywhere near your hens. This bird is sick and that's why he got dumped.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. Last night we dared to go to community theater. Knowing that Jeter is food driven, I emptied the garbage can. Did not remove the dish of white chocolates from the living room. Got home to discover that Jeter had tipped over the garbage - just in case. Had eaten the white chocolates foil wrappers and all and then opened and eaten a container of dog probiotics. Guess they worked as she didn't even have diarrhea this morning. Tootsie was in her playpen.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee!
We smoked some pork loin for DS@ and family. They came up out of the heat to play and we had a great time. Another hot one on tap and then rain and coolness for most of the coming week.

Other than this one bad habit she is such a sweetheart that you can't get mad at her. She is a sneaky 'B' though about her need to eat.
