Well, my DW would be all for it, but she'd also be cautionary, telling me how much I spent on the first coop & run, the brooder coop & run, and our recent vacation.
I'd get the "maybe next spring we'll have some extra money for that".

Well, lucky for DH, I never ask for things like flowers, jewelry, clothing or shoes... This is the first real 'hobby' I've thrown myself into and thankfully he's backing me 10000%.
Alright. Popping in with an update.
Firstly, NO this is not complete. This is just holding the birds inside during the day, since I have MANY a fliers.
The chicken run is coming along. The welded wire has gone up, before painting, so that probably was not a great idea. However, it's been raining for days and the poor chickens needed freedom. Ian finished the majority of it 2 nights ago with headlights and flashlights and multiple peoples toting wire bundles around the frame.
We still need some hardware cloth, extra chicken wire, aviary netting and more wire to bury and cement down. But we're closer and that helps. The chickens loved it today, even in the downpour we're having!
Here's a recent picture: Again, remember I'm still painting it.
