Barnevelder breeders lets work together and improve the breed

Sally is from Tls_ranch, Trisha's eggs, She is almost 7 1/2 months and taking her time developing! No eggs yet....can't wait! but of course I must

I just got my first Barnevelder eggs!!

They aren't as dark as I was hoping, but maybe the ink jets are still warming up. At least I got some marvelous speckles!

The top 4 are Buff Orp eggs, and the bottom two are from my Barnie pullets, Mocha and Java.

I think that was the lighting in the room. They are really closer to a terra cotta color. I wish they glowed. I do like the speckles, though. We'll have to see how things develop.

32 weeks. (hatched in late April.) I thought they'd never start laying.

I wonder if they are late to lay, sally is 29 weeks so there is hoping
