They were hatched 3/9, so well past 6 months now.

That's only about 2 weeks past 6 mos....I think they should start up pretty soon.

It's hatching day(s) for my Barnevelder eggs!!!

My friend who has been incubating them for me says two have pipped so far! They need to hurry up... I'm anxious to meet their little fuzzy butts!

My Plymouth starting laying 4 weeks ago

(my first chicken to ever lay an egg), her Barnie “sister” (hatched 03/29/11), has yet to give me one

!!!! On top of that my next group hatched in May, so they are only 18 & 17 weeks!!!! I don’t think I will have hair for much longer

!

My first Barnies took 32 weeks to start laying. I've got a long way to go here with my young girls. They are only 19 weeks old.
