Barnevelder chicks thoughts?

I bought both chicks from a local feed store and wanted thoughts on my Barnevelders. The lacing in one is more pronounced than the other and just has more color in general. One is black with little lacing and the other is more colorful. I know their feathers are new and they’ll look different as more come in but just wanted thoughts on the different patterns. Maybe the lacing will just be more pronounced in one of them?

The darker one looks typical of a Barnevelder, but the other has a lot more gold than usual. It's just color variation, which exists in most varieties. When they are older their adult coloring will be more clear.

Lacing at this age is dicey. Any laced chickens that I have had did not really get that clean lacing until after their first molt. My barnevelder looked like you darker one at this age and now she has the pretty lacing with the clean lines.

My male Barnevelders didn't have lacing, one looks female and one looks male. I'm not an expert. I only have 2 silver double laced ones now though.
