This little dude or dudette is a barnyard mix of standard red sex link, bantam partridge Cochin, and bantam cubalaya. It is almost 8 weeks old. Any idea of gender?

She’s a beauty! Just curious, does she have feathers on her feet/legs?
No... mom was a 50/50 mix of standard red sex link and bantam partridge Cochin.... (how that worked physically is beyond me; dad was the little Cochin but he got up in there somehow).... the resulting chick was Ms. Prissy Pants, who has feathered legs. Then little Prissy grew up and was getting bullied bc she was small, so she made the perfect companion to my bantam cubalaya (Napoleon) and they made the chick in the original post who does not have feathered legs.

bio dad was the cubalaya so no comb development

Did he have a black breast? The chick doesn't.

Also, if the mother had a single comb (Cochin & Sexlink do), then the chick's comb will be larger than if it was a pure Cubalaya.

I agree that it's probably a pullet.

He did have a black breast; he was beautiful. He kept getting beaten up so he went to a guy with bantam cubalaya hens to breed with... he’s now living the dream 😀
Thank you for the response; definitely relieved right now.
